Chongqing Huiling has opened 3 day centers for people with intellectual disabilities, which are located in Daxigou, Yuzhong District, Lianfang Garden, Shapingba District, and Changlong City Garden, Nan 'an District.
We use the community's own resources to provide services, including: cultural and recreational facilities, human resources(community volunteers), neighborhoods, different institutions, undertakings and business units in the same area, etc.. People with mental disabilities are more likely to carry out activities in the natural environment. This "real" life experience has greatly aroused the "self" and "autonomy" consciousness of people with intellectual disabilities. They naturally participate in community construction and contribute their own strength.
