Chongqing Huiling Introduction
The Huiling Vocational Rehabilitation Training Center in Yuzhong District of Chongqing(referred to as the Chongqing Huiling Intellectual Disability Service Agency) has a 15-year history of intellectual disability services. The predecessor of the Chongqing Huiling Intellectual Disability Service Agency was the "Chongqing Heart Language Intellectual Disability Community Home", which was spontaneously established by several parents of intellectual disabilities in 2003 to provide services for older people with intellectual disabilities.
Chongqing Huiling is the first institution in Chongqing to introduce social workers to carry out services in the field of disability. We follow the professional philosophy of helping people and help themselves, and we believe that life can affect life. So far, Chongqing Huiling has established service entities in Shapingba District(Lianfang Garden Point), Yuzhong District(Daxigou Point) and Nan 'an District(Changlong City Garden Point). Both have been registered as "Private Non-Enterprise Units"(NGO organizations) in the local Civil Affairs Bureau. They mainly serve young people and adults with intellectual disabilities over the age of 14. The organization currently has more than 150 registered students and more than 40 faculty members. There are teams of talents from different professions and fields such as social work, special education, psychology, style and art, and skill masters. Professional teachers provide strong guarantees for the professional services of the institution.
The center is the "National Sunshine Home Demonstration Agency"-China Disabled Persons Federation, "Central Financial Support Social Organization Demonstration Project"-Ministry of Civil Affairs, "Advanced Collective for the Construction of Chongqing Social Workforce Talents"-Chongqing Municipal Civil Affairs Bureau, "Yuzhong District Advanced Collective for Special Education"-Yuzhong District Disabled Persons Federation, Education Commission, The internship base of five social work colleges in Chongqing, the volunteer liaison station for the disabled in Yuzhong District, and so on.

Introduction to service lines
(I) Day activities group:
Making full use of community resources to help students master the skills of daily life and enhance their social adaptability under the arrangement of social workers and other professionals; Through group activities and individual coaching to help students learn self-care skills, but also pay attention to the use of individual service plans to tap the potential of students, develop their strengths, learn and cultivate their own interests, and continuously improve their quality of life.
The Day Activities Group is responsible for developing individual development plans for each student. According to the student development plan, the contents of community activities are specifically formulated and arranged to ensure the continuous development of students.
(2) Vocational training and sheltered employment: "Hui Ling Vocational Rehabilitation Training Centre, Yuzhong District"
Advance training camp
Some of the trainees who have less vocational training in the early stages are mainly trained in work habits, the development of labor attitudes, and the observance of basic work codes and work norms so that they have the general skills required for work.
Such as: money management, health care, leisure life, shopping, social skills, functional reading, functional arithmetic, functional writing, physical rehabilitation, time perception, attendance status, independent work, etc..
Vocational training and sheltered placement
In order to solve the problem of the placement of persons with mental disabilities who have certain working abilities and who are still unable to take up normal employment for certain specific reasons, the agency has set up sheltered workshops specifically for their characteristics to provide them with a relatively protected working environment. In order to give them the opportunity to gain labor and self-worth.
Such as: domestic services, cleaning groups, car sewing workshops, handicraft workshops, art studios, OEM projects.
Support for employment
In order to enable some persons with intellectual disabilities who have the opportunity to participate in general employment to participate in employment, like ordinary people, to enjoy employment, leisure and life, we also conduct one-on-one real on-the-job training for some persons with intellectual disabilities. To give them a chance to maintain successful employment.

(3) "Home of Heart and Nest" -- homely and warm community living service
To provide a safe and comfortable living environment for persons with mental disabilities in need of family care; Each Huiling family has a "family mother" and a "family assistant" living with 6-7 family members to share housework; Each member of the family has its own private space and more autonomy. While enjoying the warmth of the family, they enhance their ability to live with others and live independently at home and improve their quality of life.
(4) Individual counseling and door-to-door services
Persons with mental disabilities of different ages who require tutoring by professionals for various reasons are assessed, including the training of their relatives, such as cerebral palsy, severe disabilities, and rehabilitation treatment at home.
(5) Parent Support Services
To provide counselling services, counselling and referral services to families of persons with intellectual disabilities, and organize communication and friendship activities for parents to improve the care of children with intellectual disabilities and help alleviate the psychological stress caused by long-term care.
(VI) Extension of services: community rehabilitation training
In order to promote Huiling's service concept and service model and train more rehabilitation talents in the community, the Huiling Vocational Rehabilitation Training Center in Yuzhong District, in cooperation with the Yuzhong District Disabled Persons 'Federation, has undertaken the work of the Yuzhong District Rehabilitation Technical Guidance Center for Mental Disorders. Conduct regular professional training for community rehabilitation in Yuzhong District to share the results and exchange experiences in the field of mental retardation.
